Sarah Chatfield.
Sarah Chatfield is a music video director who first started out as a camera assistant. She studied Television Production, Film Production and Cinematography at university. She then became a director of photography and then she swiftly moved on to music videos in 2005.
Her first music video break through was for Lily Allen's single, "Alfie". The colourful music video which was live action and puppet based. The video was a airplay success.

Sarah then moved on to making a variety of other pop music videos. Most of her music videos have lots of colour. Her music video for "I Know Your Girlfriend Hates Me" by Annie is an example the use of colour and the variety.

One of Sarah Chatfield's newest music videos is for "My Wicked Heart" by Diana Vickers. In this this music video, there is a great use of studio lighting. The circus theme throughout the music video allows Sarah to use lots of variety of bold, extreme colours and unique fashion.

Sarah Chatfield has a signature theme to her music videos. Her view of fashion and her fashion sense has lead to her unique style of music video. She also uses a lot of contrasting colours and the use of studio lighting along side the fashion which makes the music videos unique to herself.
